Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Faktorlab LTD collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Last updated September 2026.
Who we are
Faktorlab LTD ("we", "us") is a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17421741) with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at mail@faktorlab.co.uk.
What we collect
We only collect what we need. That is normally the information you choose to send us by email — your name, email address, company and the details of your enquiry — together with basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type, which is logged by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you become a client, we will also hold the contract, project and billing information needed to deliver and invoice the work.
Why we use it
We use your data to reply to enquiries, deliver and support agreed projects, issue invoices, keep accounting records, and protect our website against abuse. Our lawful bases are performance of a contract, our legitimate interest in running and securing our business, and compliance with legal obligations.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate — for example email, hosting and accounting providers — and with professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it.
Enquiry correspondence is kept for up to 24 months. Contract, project and financial records are kept for at least six years to meet UK tax and accounting requirements, then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you may request access to your data, ask for it to be corrected or erased, object to or restrict processing, and request a portable copy. Email mail@faktorlab.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on this page is the current one, and the date at the top shows when it last changed.
